Target Marketing Magazine Reveals Choice in Cover Story
FORT WASHINGTON, Pa., Oct. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — Target Marketing, published monthly by North American Publishing Company (NAPCO), has named Dawn Zier, President and CEO of Nutrisystem, Inc. (NASDAQ: NTRI) as the 2014 Direct Marketer of the Year. Editors chose Zier based on her professional accomplishments and her role in the direct marketing community.
In the magazine’s extensive cover story, she describes her upbringing and credits her parents for inspiring her be the best she can be; explains how her academic background in engineering (she has a Master’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT as well as an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management) informs the way she approaches complex challenges; and cites her experience in publishing as formative in building her direct and database marketing acumen. She also credits three key mentors and stresses the importance of paying it forward by serving as a mentor and helping others succeed in their own respective careers.
