Four Weight Loss Champions Win $10,000 Each and a Trip to a Nutrisystem Photo Shoot

FORT WASHINGTON, Pa.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nutrisystem (NASDAQ: NTRI), a leading provider of weight management products and services, announced today the winners of the $40,000 NutriStar Giveaway. The four weight loss champions collectively shed nearly 400 pounds and were awarded $10,000 each plus a trip to a Nutrisystem photo shoot in Tampa, Florida.

A panel of qualified Nutrisystem judges selected the following four winners:

Edouard Dorval – Jersey City, N.J.
Edouard lost 85 pounds.

After being denied access to a waterpark ride due to his weight, Edouard began distancing himself from friends and avoiding taking photos. He endured many failed attempts to jumpstart his weight loss and it wasn’t until Edouard saw a Nutrisystem commercial that he knew he had to give it a try.

“Today, I am 85 pounds lighter, and I feel great,” said Edouard. “At the office, there are always people stopping by my desk congratulating me or asking how I’ve done it. My friends say I’m a success story.”

Ashley O’Reilly – Saginaw, Mich.
Ashley lost 135 pounds.

A routine doctor’s visit proved to be Ashley’s turning point. She stepped on the scale and couldn’t believe what it displayed. That night she saw a commercial for Nutrisystem and was determined to make a change.
