Here at Nutrisystem, giving back to our local community is something we prioritize all year long. Last week, our Contact Center completed their third and final donation of the year to Covenant House/Philadelphia, which serves local runaway and homeless youth.
Led by Nutrisystem’s Heather Brutto, our employees hand delivered supplies including several baskets of toys, personal hygiene products, school supplies, and clothing to Covenant House residents.
“It is extremely rewarding to work for a company that focuses on transforming people’s lives as a matter of business, but also for one that provides the opportunity to give back,” said Brutto. “Leading several community outreach efforts this year has been such a positive and moving experience. From the initial brainstorm of possible ways to give back, to watching employee participation grow week over week, to delivering to each of our selected organizations, it has been a true labor of love.” In addition to Covenant House, Nutrisystem supported the Veterans Affair Medical center with Welcome Home Baskets and school donations to the Treasures For Educators.
